Last week we had a flying visit from Santa Claus while 2AY were here doing a radio broadcast. It was a fantastic afternoon with lots of fun and laughter.
I had a chance, when he wasn't being surrounded by children to have a little word in Santas ear with regard to my very own Christmas List.
I mentioned a little fabric range called 'American Banner Rose', and even though the range has been out for a little while I have only just come across it and I LOVE IT!
Well blow me down, if a fat quarter bundle did not arrive the next day in the store!!!
I am being a good little girl and Im going to wrap it and put it under the Christmas Tree to be lovingly unwrapped this Christmas.
BUT IT'S GOING TO BE HARD :)
I hope you are all starting to put your Christmas List together.
Love and Blessings to all,
Mrs C xxx
I have that in a Jelly roll, still haven't decided what to make with it, but was thinking an americana style quilt.

ReplyDeleteI was thinking of a post and rail type quilt with some stars throughout....maybe appliqued? OR maybe a log cabin? OR what about a school house? OR I could do ....... oh imagine the list I will have by the time Christmas Day comes around :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful fabric bundle! Santa is a very sweet person :)

That Santa's a good bloke isn't he. You will just have to have a little squishy of the package until the big day. It is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteOh it does look nice...wonder if I can use it in the new quilt pattern that I've brought...
ReplyDeleteIM thinking I might wrap it in clear plastic and just sit it in my sewing room so I can look and look and look till then :)
