New Store and a finished project

We are nearly there, only 2 more sleeps until we open the doors to our new shop.
We have been very busy and we can't wait to hear what you all think.
A little while ago I mentioned that we stock the new Vignette magazine in the store.
Here is one of the projects out of the magazine in our chosen colours......let us know what you think.

We have so many new and exciting things planned for our little shop this year and I hope you will all join us on our journey.

There has been a lot going on in our house since the middle of last month.
Sometimes it is just nice to stop.....
Sometimes it is just nice to look......
Sometimes it is just nice to smell the flowers.....
Sometimes it is just nice to spend time with yourself!!!!!

The hardest part about being a wife, mother and small business owner is the fact that 'time' is sometimes hard to come by.
So give yourself a little gift of some TIME today :)

Online orders

Our shop front may be closed but be rest assured that we are still very busy behind the scenes getting ready for 2013.
We have in store the entire range of 'Winging It' by Buggy Barn and we also have Issue 9 of Vignette in store.
Our website may not have everything up as yet but it will definitely be updated by the end of this week.
If, in the meantime, you have any questions just send us an email here and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

This is the range that we will be doing Gail Pan's Berries and Bluebirds BOM in....again, just email us if you are interested and the information has not been posted on our website.

The beginning of new beginnings

What a whirlwind end to 2012 and a huge start to 2013 we are having here at The Christmas Beetle.
Firstly, we have relocated our shop.  You can now find us at
575 Olive Street, Albury NSW 2640 (opposite the SS&A Club)
We will be reopening on the 2nd February 2013.........
Here is a shot of our old shop just prior to us closing the doors and handing back the keys.

And our new shop is starting to take shape and is coming along nicely, the best thing about today is the electricity goes on which means AIR CONDITIONING :)

Over the Christmas period I have had a chance to get a bit of sewing done for the shop, samples and quilts and organising the new BOM's.
Here are some gorgeous decorations by Lenna Green, we will be running a class on these in the coming months.  Pattern and kits will also be available if you can not make our classes.

I have also just finished the shop sample of The Magic of Christmas BOM by Gail Pan.  You may have read about this in a previous post.  All of our BOM's will be up on our website soon with all of the information and costs.  HOWEVER, if you have any questions in the meantime just sent us an email at
